Russell Woodman, M.S., D.P.T., F.O.S.M., O.C.S., M.C.T.A. Biography
Russell M. Woodman is an international lecturer as well as a professor of physical therapy at
Quinnipiac
University in
Hamden,
Connecticut. He practices at
Montowese
Rehabilitation
Center in
North Haven,
Connecticut. He received his undergraduate physical therapy degree from
Ithaca
College, his masters’ degree from
Lehman
College and his doctorate from
Creighton
University. In 1980, Dr. James Cyriax awarded Russell full teaching membership in the British Society of Orthopaedic Medicine. In 1989, the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties granted him certification as an orthopaedic specialist. In April of 1997, Brian Mulligan certified Russell as a teacher in the Mulligan Concept. Dr. Woodman has published numerous manuscripts in the field of orthopaedic physical therapy.
