Janet Hulme

Janet Hulme M.A., P.T., has been a practicing physical therapist, professor, researcher, author and lecturer for over 30 years. She is known as a national authority on physical therapy and women’s health, including incontinence and fibromyalgia. Janet Hulme has extensive involvement with chronic pain, bowel & bladder health, childbirth education, biofeedback, women’s health clinics and entrepreneurship. Janet brings an empowering whole person approach to all her work.

A former university professor, Ms. Hulme has been a therapist for over 30 years and has had a private practice for ten years. Janet is a frequent presenter at seminars around the country on women’s health and is the author of numerous books and tapes. Her most recent books are: Beyond Kegels, Fabulous Four Exercises and More to Prevent and Treat Incontinence; Fibromyalgia: A Handbook for Self Care and Treatment; Beyond Kegels II, Clinicians Guide to Treatment Algorithms & Special Populations; and newly released Geriatric Incontinence: A Behavioral and Exercise Approach to Treatment.
