Jay Platt
Jay
Platt has over 25 years experience in sports medicine as a physical
therapist, athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning
specialist.
Jay has specialized in the biomechanics
of golf, and golf performance enhancement through improved physical
conditioning since 1995.
He has worked with all levels of golfers including juniors, recreational amateurs, college, PGA and LPGA tour players.
Jay is the Director of
Biomechanics at the Buck Mayers Golf Academy at Circle C, and traveling physical therapist on the PGA Tour with Back 9 Services.
Jay
established the BACKtoGOLF Performance Center in Austin, Texas in 1998.
He lectures nationally on the biomechanics of the golf swing as an
Associate Instructor for BACKtoGOLF Seminars.
Jay was a presenter at the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame Teaching and Coaching Seminar.
He appeared as a guest on the Golf Channel’s
“Academy Live” discussing functional golf conditioning along with client and PGA Tour Winner, J.L. Lewis.
Jay and J.L. developed the POWERGolf Performance Program, which is currently being sold nationwide.
