John Alegi is a clinical practitioner at The Institute of Integrative Manual Therapy in Bloomfield, CT. He is on the faculty of The Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy and Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation. John teaches a wide variety of courses in Integrative Manual Therapy nationally and internationally.
Prior to moving to Connecticut, John was the Practice Manager for CenterIMT Greenwich, CT and CenterIMT Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with an education degree concentrating in Sport biomechanics. He later graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Allied Health with a concentration in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, John worked as a Physical Therapist at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. John also worked in the Sports Medicine arena focusing on orthopedics, neurologic, and geriatric rehabilitation, and clinical biomechanics focusing on foot orthotics and gait analysis using computerized motion analysis equipment.
