Russell M. Woodman is an international lecturer as well as a professor of physical therapy at
QuinnipiacUniversity in
Hamden,
Connecticut. He practices at
MontoweseRehabilitationCenter in
North Haven,
Connecticut. He received his undergraduate physical therapy degree from
IthacaCollege, his master's degree from
LehmanCollege and his doctorate from
CreightonUniversity. In 1980, Dr. James Cyriax awarded Russell full teaching membership in the British Society of Orthopedic Medicine. In 1989, the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties granted him certification as an orthopedic specialist. In April of 1997, Brian Mulligan certified Russell as a teacher in the Mulligan Concept. Dr. Woodman has published numerous manuscripts in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.
