Learning Outcomes:
→ Participant will identify through palpation significant bony and muscular landmarks of the canine
→ Participant will perform a basic evaluation inclusive of range of motion, joint play, soft tissue restrictions and strength
→ Participant will be introduced to the principles of different types of massage and be able to safely and effectively apply them to the dog
→ Participant will be introduced to the principles of joint mobilization and be able to safely and effectively apply them to some of the joints of the dog
→ Participant will be able to perform therapeutic exercises to the dog with minimal equipment in a safe and effective manner
→ Participant will recognize the basic principles of laser therapy and be able to safely apply it to a case load
→ Participant will recognize the basic principles of shockwave therapy and any other new, emerging modalities

● Seminar includes coffee breaks and handouts. Lunch is not included.

● Course related products (if any) will be available at the course, however, in a limited quantity.

● Certificates of Attendance will be given to all participants and may be used for those who need C.E.U. verification and credits.

● Participants will be required to sign a Release of Liability prior to the commencement of this seminar.

● Northeast Seminars is recognized by the NATA Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers.
