Julie earned an Advanced Master of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1985 at Quinnipiac University. Julie has served as an Associate Professor at Quinnipiac College's advanced master's program in Orthopedics and is a national educator for the Cyriax Approach of evaluation and treatment. Her accomplishments include Mulligan Concept Teacher Certification Program (1996-1999), Athletic Trainer Certification Internship Program (1993) and over 23 years of clinical experience in orthopedics/sports physical therapy. Julie was the first woman in North America certified by Brian Mulligan, F.N.Z.S.P., (Hon.) Dip. M.T. to teach his concept of mobilization with movement. Her special interests include golf, running, cycling and triathlons. She serves on the Board of Directors for Notre Dame Mission Volunteers Corps. She owns and operates a private practice in orthopedics/sports physical therapy in central Connecticut.
