Robert Mangine serves as National Director of Clinical Research and Education for NovaCare Rehabilitation. Bob also serves as football trainer at the University of Cincinnati and coordinates rehabilitation for the athletic department.

He has multiple academic appointments including assistant professor of Physical Therapy at the College of Mount St. Joseph, adjunct assistant professor University of Cincinnati Department of Orthopedics, and clinical instructor of rehabilitation in the Sports Medicine Fellowship training program, Department of Orthopedics University of Cincinnati. Bob has participated in or presented at over 350 continuing education courses nationwide and published more than 57 articles. In 1996, Bob was selected as the head trainer of aquatic sports for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as appointed head aquatic trainer for the Goodwill Games in Moscow 1986, Atlanta 1990 and New York 1998. He served as president of the Sports Physical Therapy Sections for 7 years and current memberships include the National Athletic Trainers Association and U.S. Diving, where he was Co-Chairman of the Sports Medicine committee from 1979 till 2003.
