All states have different regulations for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Northeast Seminars applies for continuing education approval, when available, in the state where the course is being offered and where pre-approval is required. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact us @ info@neseminars.com or contact your licensing board.
Northeast Seminars (BOC AP#P498) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. Each program is eligible for a maximum number of Category A hours/CEUs and is listed under each program. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.
New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants has approved Northeast Seminars as a Sponsor for continuing education for all live and online courses.
The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a national organization does not approve continuing education providers or courses.
Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
The Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) developed ProCert, a comprehensive continuing competence activity certification program, as directed by its members - the 53 U.S. jurisdiction physical therapy licensing boards (“jurisdiction boards”). FSBPT uses the Standards for Continuing Competence Activities to evaluate the content of continuing competence activities for purposes of awarding certification through ProCert.
